Hampton Court Palace

The annual Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt returns to Henry VIII's former home for another year of chocolatey goodness. Once kids have found all the gold bunny figures hidden around the gardens and house, they can trade them in for the real deal. And the fun doesn't stop there! There's royal chocolate tasting in the Base Court Lunchroom from 11am – 4pm and a fun chocolate cup decorating workshop in the Hampton Court Palace Classroom from 11am – 4pm.

Kew Royal Botanic Gardens

Cost: Admission ranges from £4-16, Easter egg hunt is £4/child (cash only)
Throughout the Easter period kids can get involved in a fun set of Peter Rabbit themed activities; taking part in games and learning about the vegetables Peter found in Mr McGregor's garden. There will also be ample opportunities to learn about Beatrix Potter's other beloved characters and her own personal links to Kew. Over the Easter weekend there's also a special carrot-themed Easter egg trail around the woods. Kids will collect symbols along the way and decode them back at the Millennium Seed Bank. The answers will help reveal a complete carrot muffin recipe and once finished, they'll get a special Divine chocolate egg.

Children's Trust Easter Fair

Located in the beautiful Grade 1 listed country mansion, The Children’s Trust provide a variety of services which enable children with brain injury to live a full and enriching life. Visit the inspirational team this Spring for their fun-filled, Easter Fair.
Egg hunt, go karts, a Spring farm, fairground rides and a food market to keep children and adults happy. There are extra prizes if you find the golden egg – hurry!

Box Hill

Consistently voted one of the best places for walking in Surrey, Box Hill attracts hordes of visitors every year, due to its iconic and breathtaking views. Scamper across the stunning Surrey Hills, roll down a hill should the urge take you, and follow the trail to win chocolate treats. Egg rolling and a bonny bunny bonnet competition will also feature. Bring your wellies!

There is a plethora of fun-filled activities over the Easter holidays for kids at Battersea Park Zoo. As well as the main event – the Easter egg trail – make an Easter card, get lost in some egg-related storytelling, make a set of rabbit ears, attend an egg-stravaganza day with real eggs on display and meet a real rabbit!

Hobbledown Children's Farm

For something a bit different head to Hobbledown, Epsom’s very own magical world of riddles and rhyme. Throughout Easter weekend (Good Friday to Easter Monday) guests will be able to take part in Rumpletump’s Giant Egg Hunt but that's just one of many activities on offer; other attractions include puppet shows, birds of prey displays and a daring high ropes course and animal feedings. Play equipment such as jumping pillows, towers, tunnels, mazes and giant sand pits are sure to be a big hit with kids of all ages.

On March 30th this riverside National Trust will be hosting a day of family fun, with sports races for children, mums and dads as well as craft activities. There's also a big Cadbury's Easter egg hunt to top it all off. For the rest of the Easter weekend there's a variety of Easter waterway-themed trails and activities with further Cadbury Easter prizes.

Oakley Court Windsor

Oozing kooky architecture, it is no wonder the 1975 cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show was filmed here. Flying the flag for British eccentricity, it also hosts the annual Swan Upping Ceremony. To find the hidden clues in this hunt, race round Oakley Court, Windsor’s gothic country house, and hop through the beautiful grounds – delicious treats are up for grabs if you can solve all the puzzles.

There is something truly splendid about Morden Hall Park. Set amongst meadows and trees with the River Wandle running through it, the park is a great escape from the city. Pop into the beautifully renovated stable yard to browse through the second hand book shop and enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake in the cafe. Over Easter, kids will follow a trail around the park to find out about spring animals and their babies and how they can help them. At the end, they'll receive a delicious Cadbury chocolate prize.

The beautiful WWF Wildlife garden is where the fun is happening over Easter. Kids can claim their Easter egg by solving puzzles and there's storytelling, painting, mask-making and clay modelling to get involved with. Be sure to stick around as there's also plenty of wildlife-related fun to be enjoyed by all the family – from interactive activities to amazing films that capture nature at its best. Every year Squire's Garden Centre hosts a bunny hunt, and last year it hosted a number of create and grow sessions, helping children to learn about gardening, wildlife and the natural life. No details have been announced for Easter this year but keep an eye on the website for announcements.
