This Georgian country estate was created in the late 18th century, and today the impressive neo-classical mansion is presented as it would have looked in the 1780s. Morden Hall Park

This tranquil former deer park is one of the few remaining estates that used to line the River Wandle during its industrial heyday. The river meanders through the park creating a haven for wildlife. The snuff mills, which generated the park’s income in the past, survive to this day.

Steeped in nearly 300 years of history, this grade 1 listed garden created by the great landscape designers of the 18th-century charts the evolution of the English Landscape Garden.

Remarked Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother herself on her honeymoon at Polesden Lacey. This country retreat, only four miles from Dorking, has glorious views across the rolling Surrey Hills and acres of countryside to explore.

These ancient commons, mentioned in the Domesday Book, are a natural spectacle. With grassland plains, mighty oak woods and serene ponds, the ethereal scenery makes for a lovely salubrious stroll.
